Citation Desk · Legal mission 04 · Telegraph Hackathon Season II

Every fact carries a receipt.

Cross-border diligence where each fact is bought through Telegraph, graded, and printed with the provider, the signal hash and its cost. Conflicts are surfaced; missing facts stay missing.

LIVE TESTNET

Control-case run

32 paid requests, $0.17, real x402 receipts and signal hashes. HSBC clear; Sberbank flagged CRITICAL by sanctions screening; a fictional entity with no LEI comes back clear but unverified. A firm-approved provider list is used only to retry after a failed quality check.

FIXTURE REPLAY

Three-entity narrative

A full pack showing all three outcomes: clear, critical, and a cross-source conflict (jurisdiction mismatch plus adverse media against a clean screen). No spend; data illustrative.

What the desk does

Why it matters

A receipt proves delivery, not correctness. In the live run, several top-ranked providers returned a different entity, an unrelated filing list, or raw RSS. The desk caught each one, retried, and recorded what it rejected — which is what a firm needs before it can rely on a bought fact.

Season II · Legal mission · testnet only. The live report is a pipeline test on public companies, not an allegation or a risk opinion.
